The Prescott Parks & Recreation Department take great pride i planning, building and maintaining the city’s 900 acres of parks. Each is unique in its recreation offerings and setting.
Watson Lake
Four miles from downtown on Highway 89 North; campsites, boat ramp, fishing, ramadas, picnic tables, barbecue grills, playground, and restrooms.
Goldwater Lake
Four miles south of Prescott on Senator Highway (Mt. Vernon Street); boat ramp, fishing pier, ramada, barbecue grills, playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, picnic tables, and restrooms.
Roughrider Park
North end of Washington Street; three athletic fields, six tennis courts, restrooms, concession stand.

Sixth Street along Granite Creek; ramada, picnic tables barbecue grills, horse shoe pits, multi-use trail, restrooms.
Flinn Park
Corner of Linwood and Josephine Street; ramada, picnic tables, softball/baseball field basketball court, playground, restrooms.
Peppertree Mini Park
Corner of Tamarack Lane and Delano Street; playground, picnic table.
Willow Creek Park
North of the junction of Willow Lake and Willow Creek Roads; ramada, softball field, horseshoe pits, barbecue grills, restrooms.
Heritage Park
Willow Creek Road, north of Willow Creek Park; softball/soccer fields, armadas, picnic tables, concession stand, trails, wildlife viewing, playground.
Pioneer Park
Commerce Drive off Willow Creek Road; softball/soccer/baseball/football fields, multi-use trails, concession stand, restrooms. The annual fireworks display is held here.
Acker Park
End of south Virginia Street. Eighty acres of preserved forest land with historic trails. Park facilities are being planned.
Striclin Park
Sherwood Drive; five acres of preserved forest land with historic trails. Access restricted to pedestrian and equestrian traffic.
Watson Woods
North highway 89; 140 acres of riparian habitat with trails and birdwatching areas.
VA Park
Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, North Highway 89. Little league field.
Heritage Park Zoo & Wildlife Sanctuary
The Heritage Park Zoo & Wildlife Sanctuary is an incorporated, non-profit organization founded in 1985 and has served the people of Prescott and surrounding communities since 1988.
